Hey! Just a heads up -- I notice you've made two entries on a_facility in one day, with three entries on the front page. There's no actual limit on how many you can make, of course, but it's a good idea to just keep one going and build up some character interaction in there, with at least a few days between entries. Otherwise, it can clutter the community up and push other people off the front page.

That said, you're doing pretty good, even though I admit I'm not familiar with the canon. Welcome to the facility~

I'd already kind of noticed that, but thank you very much for the heads up. Obviously I'm still learning the ropes as I go, but you're right. Especially this week, with such an interesting premise, I'd definitely like to keep the interesting stories up as long as possible.

Damn it, but facility is about as easy to lay off as a strong drug. I'll do my best, I assure you.

Speaking of unfamiliar with the canon, looks like I'm gonna have to go read some homestuck. Seems like half the characters here hail from that webcomic I learned about a couple days ago.

I apologize if this seems abrupt but I really feel that I need to address the multiple instances of godmoding/meta that you seem to have Harry use in reference to Bakura.

The most recent instance would be in this thread with Varon when Harry says: "Though we don't have magic card games. Heard about that one from Bakura, seems kind of silly to me." I've never had Bakura mention anything about Duel Monsters to Harry, or in fact to anyone outside of Fujino in Facility and briefly in reference to Varon during an action thread.

It might seem like a minor thing to you but it's not the first time it's happened. One of the other references was when Harry talked to Fujino and told her to be careful around Bakura because he had "killed the boy who's body he was using" or something to that effect. I realize they had talked briefly about Bakura not being in his original body in this log (again, you had Harry godmod nearly everything about that conversation ostensibly using Wizard's Sight without asking me first) but that was a hell of a conjectural leap for Harry to have made -- and it's not true besides.

The problem with metagaming is that it affects other characters when it's used in interaction and often by the time it's spotted, it's too late to redact entire conversations. Case in point, now I either have to figure out when Bakura could've theoretically mentioned Duel Monsters to Harry and why he'd have done so to a person he doesn't trust in th slightest, or ask Varon-mun to ignore that segment of the conversation... neither of which is especially far to either player.

In summary I'm just hoping you'll take a little more care in keeping IC and OOC knowledge separate and if you need any clarification on something relating to my characters, please don't hesitate to PM me or private plurk me.

Oh, wow. I'm really sorry about that, and don't worry about talking to Varon-mun, I'll send them a message saying to just ignore that bit of the conversation, it wasn't important anyway. That particular instance was just me forgetting about IC/OOC knowledge and inserting my own knowledge about the Yu-Gi-oh universe into Harry's mouth.

The second thing with Bakura's body was a leap Harry made himself after experiences with possessions back from where he was from, I didn't mean to godmod because I know it's not true, but it's the sort of thing Harry would assume when he's looking for a reason to hate someone. Harry tends to make monsters out of people who don't deserve it, simply because he's met actual monsters before and gotten paranoid about it. He jumps to conclusions and at shadows whenever he meets someone who gives him a bad gut instinct. I'm sorry I didn't talk to you about it-playing someone like that for so long, I just tend to assume people know him and how he thinks.

For what it's worth, I'm glad you came here with it rather than somewhere like anoncomm, and I'll absolutely do my best to avoid this kind of thing in the future. Oftentimes it's an honest mistake and it's minor enough that I miss it myself, like the duel monsters comment, but the wizard's sight thing was stupid of me and I sincerely apologize for that. If you ever notice anything like this again, please tell me and I'll do whatever I can to fix it. I don't mean to be frustrating to play with and I don't want to be someone that has a habit of godmodding.
